Question: Will the draws done this afternoon or on Tuesday?

Ha! I was just checking their website, and couldn't find an answer.


EDIT: I wrote them about it. Will let everyone know if I receive an answer. I also told them they should have already had this information easily available.

Yep, that's why I asked. They have the qualifiers up. The tournament begins Wednesday, so I thought maybe this afternoon. :-/

I just got this response. At least they're quick, if a little clueless:

"The qualifying rounds will take place today as well as tomorrow the 24th. The order of play each day will be released the night before around 7pm. You may keep updated at our website, miamiopen.com. Please let me know if you have any further questions!"

I wrote them again ...

The women's draw is now available, so I'm guessing they're currently doing the men's.

I'm not positive, but I do know when Serena asked for a wildcard for IW, she was seeded No. 1, and listed like this: [WC/1] Williams, Serena

If the draw has not been done yet, of course each player WC or not gets into the draw based on ranking.
I guess Mirka wanted to go to the beaches and Rodge said why not, I am going to work on my H2H against Rafa:snicker
