The McIllroy effect is not much to write home about I'm afraid. But the Caro effect is quite something. Since they became an item Rory has been number one at one point and he's won a major where he was a mile ahead of everyone else.

Actually I disagree with you. There many examples when for an athlete,. happiness off the court translates to better results. And i must say, coincidence or not, Grigor started to play significantly better since with Maria. I posted that photo for a reason.

We'll so far he doesn't seem affected. After booting Djoker, he takes the opening set off Stan 6-3.

I doubt Maria can make any men happy....I'm assuming Grigor is a real men; not sure of the dynamics in Bulgaria but I hope it hasn't been westernized like the rest of the world.
