Kyrgios is never going to get far with his attitude and almost complete lack of emotional control. He's his own worst enemy. :nono

Nevertheless, I'm glad Roger is winning.

Well Roger took the 1st set with a little help from his friends! That was an awful call; inside the line correction! The warning was gratuitous! What an idiot!

Not a fan of Kyrgios backhand, it looks tacky. Not a fan of the guy in general, actually.

Me neither. I know you won't believe me, but it has nothing to do with his beating Rafa last year. I just think the kid's a punk.

Agreed. The good thing is that the attitude will probably prevent him from doing real damage.

Ha! I was wrong thinking you wouldn't believe me. I apologize.

Someone in another forum said that it is hard to root for the guy when he looks like serial offender who just got out of jail.
I thought that comment was very suiting:laydownlaughing
You may add me also on the list of no-nafs

:lolz: A foul-mouthed punk, fresh from a jail break, doesn't do anything for me.

That said, his game is interesting, even though it's somewhat unorthodox. He sure isn't making it easy for Roger.

Wow. And I was thinking to myself Australia's version of thugs playing tennis...

Then Roger says, "All we need is a clown for this circus."

Uncoordinated bimbos in pink tops and polka dot shorts and knee high white socks trying the keep their hair from their eyes as they attempt to pick up a tennis ball. :nono Tiriac's fiasco - Madrid.

K wins the 2nd set tiebreak -- we're going three.

All these 3 set matches on center court today. Funny, only Nadal kept his to straights. :eyepop

Well, the list of match-ups where I will always cheer for Fed to win has just grown by one.

do I hear a 3rd TB? Sounds like an Isner/Ivo match

I think it's inevitable. The big question: who wins? I'm going with Fed, but it could go either way.

Nothing funny about it. The guy is fairly useful on clay.

Got to wonder if a long match like this will take its toll on the old fogey... :popcorn

That's what I said last week when he played in Instanbul, but I was quickly rebutted by a few people who stated it was good for him to win these exaggerated close matches.
