A lot of users on this site have known each other for over a decade, beginning when tennis.com had a discussion forum. When that closed, we moved around a few times, then settled here. The administrator of Tennis.com had an iron fist approach to moderating, which many users disliked.
On Tennis Frontier,
@kskate2 and I (the admins) have taken a much more backseat approach to moderating. We mainly do clean up activities, such as moving messages into different threads, moving threads to a different forum, deleting duplicate posts/threads, etc. We rarely delete posts.
There are no language filters on this site, so technically anyone can write anything. That said, it’s self-evident the users generally don’t engage in using “bad words”. As
@Moxie wrote, it was a ”special day” and a joke.
