He put a tack in his shoe.Even Tsitsipas looks like he's going to cry.
Yep, I was just waiting for the ace.Being a tennis enthusiast . I know he knows he should have served both serves down the T but it's all good. Bravo to the GOAT. Nobody has ever done it better moving forward and striking the ball so beautiful and gracefully. God thanks for Roger .
They both hate losing, but I don't think it's that. They are tied at the hip, and one just untethered. That's for Rafa, anyway. For Roger, it's the big goodbye.Rafa and Roger look the two unhappiest of people right now.
Poor. Shiitt she is a billionaire's wife jajajaPoor Mirka, she's been through it over the years!
I have always been a fan of both Federer and Nadal, often rather controversially around here. But it was always the truth, and I hope the fans of both guys — who have so often been at war with each other — can see today that they like and respect each other so much. They have behaved better than some of their fans. They both hate losing, but I don't think it's that. They are tied at the hip, and one just untethered. That's for Rafa, anyway. I think he was right in that he said she could have put a stop to it, but she let him play on. She has been a terrific support mate, even before they had 4 kids. Since then, you know she's had a big ship to run.Poor Mirka, she's been through it over the years!
I was texting with one friend throughout the match, who has always loved both. I said to her that I used to fuss at her that you couldn't be a fan of both, but even I have mellowed over the years. It was too hard to love tennis and not appreciate Roger and his game. But yes, Roger and Rafa have long demonstrated that their mutual respect was way different from our Fedal wars.I have always been a fan of both Federer and Nadal, often rather controversially around here. Well we know it won't be too long before it's Rafa's turnThey both hate losing, but I don't think it's that. They are tied at the hip, and one just untethered. That's for Rafa, anyway. For Roger, it's the big goodbye.
Yeah I’m the same. Of course I detested him in the early Fedal wars but maybe since 2018 I’ve grown to realise that I better start enjoying him too, he’s too great to let myself get in my own way of doing that. His bromance with Rafa is epic. Never seen anything like it in sports, at this level. A genuine friendship. The two of them always giggling soon as they’re together…I was texting with one friend throughout the match, who has always loved both. It’s good to see he is taking lessons from his US Open loss about returning better.Frances has been reading the serves of Rafa and Roger well, good return from Frances
