We all know by now why he is not winning anything major above the 500 level...

It will be very wise for him to take some time off & sort himself out if that is even possible. All the talks before the walks....are useless !

A lot of people had enough of him!

Nicky usually excels in doubs. I'm thinking someday he will forego singles altogether and just play doubs.

thats an interesting point. I guess having a partner in doubles helps him to keep his mind on the job and therefore he's eager to focus more on actually playing tennis than what sometimes happens in singles.

Good win by Kyrgios and Sock..best team won..

I just can't get over the fake enthusiasm & drama being created trying to make this event relevant! Maybe in a few years when the "NG'rs" take over it'll mean something, but for now this tourney and the era continues to be owned by Fedalovic; even the scripted parts! It's no secret in tennis that we can choreograph a match; decide who wins a set to create tension making it tight so they can go to that Super-TB again and again! I was playing my dentist in the 2nd round of a club championship when I was probably about 20 back in '77! He had a decent enough game and took a set off a player I never beat, but I never had much trouble with the guy! I let him build a lead to come back so his ego wasn't bruised by being beat by a kid! That sort of thing goes on all the time; someone overhearing McEnroe and Borg deciding who wins what set before playing "for real" in the 3rd at a Masters' Final RR match decades ago! :nono:

When Nick plays on a team or in doubles, he never cuts up, except in a fun way. He really does like having teammates. I think K is on to something.

Nick knows he cannot get up to his usual tricks with another player on court, the player would not stand for it.
