I'm thinking he'll go down the McEnroe path, just not as successful. Repeated outbursts, clown acts on the court, fines, scuffles with fellow pros, a slam default, and he'll fill the stands. He'll marry badly once then marry someone who can smack him upside the head when she has to. He'll write an autobiography titled "Sorry to tell you that, Mate!" He'll be the clown attraction of the champions tour, with lost of hits and giggles tricks up his sleeve. When he comes home, he'll look up at his three 250 funky trophies and live the life of luxury.

To be fair, if he even approximates a McEnroe, he will have to pay attention to tennis at some point. Right now, he looks more like a Tomic.

No argument there.

Never know, maybe he'll start him on the same steroids he took that were too strong for horses :p

Not at all. Right now, Bernie is at a career high #18 in the world. Nick has a lot of work to do in order to look like a top 20 player. ;)

Said it before, Sampras would sort that kid out. McEnroe would be as effective as pouring oil on a blazing fire, then throwing acid in on top, before trying to contain it all with a big stick of dynamite... :nono

Kyrgios is already mad enough. Imagine if Mac was his coach and gave him a helping hand with those steroids that "were too strong even for horses" for 6 years! :snicker

I think Nick is looking at a big season coming up. Is he going to thread water, go crazy a few times to top up his bad boy image, beat the big guns now and then but ultimately win feck all and not progress in the rankings, or will he show a spurt in the old grey matter, hire a coach who doesn't do crazy - and never did - and win things? I still think he's an exciting kid, buckets of potential, but what's ultimately between the ears with the bloke?

I am not certain Nick doesn't have the mental fortitude or the guts to be a major factor in the slams.

Hope you're right. I'd like to see a cocky young SOB win a slam next year.

Front , the Tennis Gods are not that foolish meaning it would take a perfect storm similar to what occurred at the USO 2014 for that to occur. Kyrigios cannot control himself for two weeks, not a chance in Hades:devil

I agree with you. Kyrgios has zero ATP titles in his resume, he will definitely not start with a slam.

I know there's zero chance of it happening. Just saying I'd like for it to happen  Already the 2016 season is starting with a downer for me with the news of Soderling's retirement which plain sucked after he had hoped to return next year.

Spandex would be very revealing, because he is not wearing underwear :snicker
