Yes....how ironic just when you were talking about how she manages to beat Keys in a match.Their match is on tomorrow.
I just noticed the same and was going to comment to AP. Could be interesting.

Glad to see Sorribes Tormo, Coco Gauff and Sakkari all get through today.

Sloane has a H2H 5-1 over Madison
I get the point, and Sloane's chance to snag forward momentum from the jaws of defeat. I also see why AP says Madison might just quit if she loses that one tomorrow. That's why I think it will be interesting.

I spoke to her coach at the time about their matchup..he felt if Sloane kept the ball deep and steady on Madison FH, it would eventually break down. This has been evident in most of their matches because Madison just tried to hit through Sloane.

An old tennis coach once told me, you have a big serve, you have the ground strokes, now you need to become a "ball player" meaning hit the ball where it was hit from but keep moving your feet if you want to change the direction of the ball.. Madison hasn't "mastered" this simple technical concept yet .IMO

Some players parents should stay at home watching the matches

Madison figured it out. She won 7-5 in the 3 set. I didn't see the match but I imagine it was some good points.

I hardly watch women play these days, but I see Kerber's still out there! OMG, she's acquired Martina's bags under her eyes! She should beat Cornet!
Kerber's level of play has gone south these days,Cornet the Drama Queen could defeat her,I would not be surprised if Kerber retires in the next couple of years,I always thought her game was made for clay,it is the one GS she is missing in her career.
Kerber has taken the 1st set 62....she might be on a roll lol!
Kerber wins 62 75...her reward she plays the defending champion Simona Halep :)
