I do have to say, Medvedev is the inheritor of the Safin mantle, at least in terms of the Russians. Very Dostoyevskian. They're guilty of Crimes, and given to a lot of self-Punishment. The other great Drama Queen in men's tennis is Fognini. He's the tenor in his own personal tragic opera.
Taking it further. Medvedev's antics make him "The Idiot" while not controlling his temper is due to his "Demons".
Can't resist Dosoevsky references....

"I hit some very good fhands cross courts too avoid his good bhand cross and then he has a great change down the line,no?.So I think I did that well.Is not a surprise for me.No,I know how good he is and the shots he has".

Razor sharp Novak destroying a weak Davidovich-Fokina.

Djoker vs Tsitsipas (Berrettini) and Rafa vs Zverev, very nice ones!!

This challenger event is in my city, Zagreb (Croatia) and I so much wanted to watch it, but unfortunately there is no audience allowed at all. A few of us did watch Gulbis on a centre court a few days ago, but you have to stay at the fence and you see only 50 percent of the court. It's a shame. I caught some sunburns watching Gulbis, but what else to do, he is quite a character :)

Anyway this Seyboth Wild guy has a few good wins in his career but seems to struggle lately. I remember @mrzz was saying that Seyboth is a future top player.

Nope looks more like the Greek will take the first step and win the tight 1st set in TB.

Bad miss by Carlos the umpire on the not up call plus the Italian didn't play a clean tbr. Give the Greek credit. He did what he had to do. Maybe MB can regroup

It’s done, a hopefully high quality QF is waiting for us tomorrow. Stefanos vs Novak.
Really tough top half-draw, and who ever makes it to the F will just habe to beat the best on clay.

Rafa seems to enjoy opening by giving away the break, to make it challenging.

It looks like yesterday's match against Sinner took out a little bit of Nadal physically. Very flat for now....
