You are right, but I have the feeling without the help of Denis, he would have lost the match.
He had many tight matches in the recent past, and he lost unusually often. Even on clay.
I don’t know, but this year could be the change or at least the last RG he wins.

It's a common mistake to attribute wins like this to errors from the opponent, or "help." What also happens, generally, though, is that a) they can't keep up the level of play, and/or they eventually get worn down, mentally and physically. Commentators here call it the "Nadal tax." But I'll be happy to see it if Denis can bring more of this level and consistency more often.

It was my wedding anniversary,I went out for dinner,I was watching scores on my phone,then I came home to watch live,a few drinks at times numb my brain for what I was actually watching from Rafa lol! though he played a good solid t/break to win.
