Why does espn3 only have WTA matches?!

Because the WTA is the least watched. TC is making everyone pay premiums to see then men play on their pay channel/app.

That tie breaker between Stan and Monaco. Neither of them wanted to hold their serve

Yeah, its annoying. I'm watching a stream from Sportstream.tv, but the quality is mediocre.

Watching Kyrgios and Rafa, even if Rafa wins, I think in Kyrgios we have our first serious contender to the elite since Soderling, or when del Potro came up. I don't think he'll necessarily be an all-time great, but I see an elite player.

He will play. He is not a quitter.

Hope so. I don't like it when the any of the top guys miss a slam.

Roger is well known for his uninterrupted presence at slams. If he does not show up at RG, that would mean bad news overall including Wimbledon.

Roger hasn't missed a slam in more than 15 years , I doubt he will skip RG entirely although he should

Rafa just is playing so so when Nicky serves . He is making this match more difficult than it needs to be

Meanwhile, Lucas Pouille is taking David Ferrer apart. Pouille could be the breakout player of the year so far.

Assuming he wins this match, he'll be in the top 40.

If Lucas wins, David Ferrer ends his run in the top 10.

Yeah, I think Ferrer is starting to slip. I don't expect him to be in the top 10 by year's end. In fact, I think both Thiem and Kyrgios will be in, with Ferrer and Gasquet out.

Young gun assault continues. It would be awesome to see the other half of Fedal taken down on the same day. 22 year old Pouille ready to send old guy Ferrer home too.

I am not jumping that far ahead. For now, David is out, that is sure.

Yeah... Just frustrating. It's not worth procrastinating to watch a terrible stream, but I wish I could see what looks like an interesting match.

Pouille's now #37 in the live rankings. If he wins the QF he's up to #32.

He's also had the third best year so far of players age 23 and younger. Only Thiem and Kyrgios are ahead.

Nice to see. I told you, otherwise class Pouille (born 1994) is terrible.
Beside Lucas, the only other top 100 player in that class is J. Thompson, who timidly just joined the club two weeks ago.

Yeah, its a weak year. Thiago Monteiro might rise up a bit, but Pouille looks like the only future top 20 player.

You mean he'll take up a spot in the draw for no good reason than to take up space? I expected an apology in my email; several maybe! :nono  :dodgy:

With Stan, you never know. He was up a set and a break on Monaco, to lose then the match.

Teen-shagging Stan sent home from Rome. Vamos Juan.

Juan is also a has been. Ranked 98. On clay he can be a spoiler though.
