Great point, but Rafa should have dispatched him. He had Murray at full pelt. Great stuff by Andy...

Exactly. Rafa is labouring his hits. It's looking poorer by the day. But he'll put up a fight I expect.

So far wondering if my passing thought of Murray winning Rome may actually happen.

Oh ye of little faith, brother. This match hasn't even started yet...

Not impressed by anything from Nadal so far so unless Murray's level drops this is a walk in the park.

I have to head out soon, but it;s a great display from Murray so far, with signs that Rafa is getting roused. Rafa serving, 0-5 in the first...

I agree. It's strange how quickly things can change. This guy is nowhere near the monster he used to be.

Well, it's good to see Murray's level up there, it was getting too routine to ignore him. Lendl did say Andy would do well on clay, just before he leapt from the sinking ship...

Wow and from Murray! I am shocked because Murray has done nada this year, so to see him take it to Rafa and on clay no less is nice.

There's a girl in a black coat with nice legs in the crowd down the end Rafa is serving.

Just saying...

Said yesterday walking home I had a passing thought that Murray would win Rome. Still a distinct possibility. He'll probably never have a better opportunity with Federer, Fognini, Ferrer and Stan out and Nadal playing like this.

Well, Murray will get a second chance next set. Man, Rafa is looking mediocre out there. Even the ferocious spin is gone.
