The bookies don't leave IPTL alone either. Here are the odds.

Singapore Lions 2

UAE Falcons 11/4

Manila Mavericks 3

Indian Aces 3

I already spoke about how much Nadal was giving to his charities long ago-

^ You seriously aren't aware of Nadal's school in India for dalits (untouchables)?

The more Nadal earns, the better off that school is (whether all his earnings go to it, or just a fraction) :clap

Whereas what does prioritizing the AO do for the dalits?

So its not relevant what exact % of his IPTL earnings go to his Indian school. The point is the more he earns the more money his Indian school gets, whether that is all his IPTL earnings or just a fraction :)

From now on, whenever I feel like donating ten dollars to needy and poor people,
instead I am going to give $125 to Nadal. That way Nadal will give 10% of it to charity
and the charity will make sure that 80% of what they get will go to needy, thus
achieving my goal.

Not to be outdone by IPTL, Fed is playing his own exo, but in his own backyard and
against his own DC team mate.

"I am happy to announce that after the successful exhibition for my foundation in December 2010, Stan Wawrinka has agreed to play me in The Match for Africa 2 on December 21st, 2014 in Zurich at the Hallenstadion arena," Federer made the announcement via his official Facebook page

The only selling point of this fiasco for me is the Pistol teaming up with young Ralph...

Kind of ironic them teaming up together seeing as Nadal has slagged Sampras' style of tennis calling it boring in the past. Maybe Sampras will clock him on the back of the head a few times between points.

^did he really say that about Sampras' style? Or was he talking about power serving/ s&v style in general?

He was talking about the style and era in general, not Sampras particularly. Far as I know, both he and his uncle regard Sampras very highly, as they would...

"Personally, to watch a Pete Sampras versus Goran Ivanisevic match, or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis, it is a few swings of the racquet.

"It was less eye-catching than what we do now. Everyone enjoys the tennis we play much more. I am not saying we are playing better tennis, just more enjoyable tennis. For me, in the past it was just serve, serve, serve."

^Ok so.. even if he did mention Pete, it was more in reference to the times, which is fair enough. I can hardly disagree with that Wimbledon final. It was dire!

Exactly. It's the style of tennis he didn't like, not the player, but that's more's the pity - Rafa could do with learning a few tricks from Pete on how to shorten the rally...

I don't think everyone enjoys Rafa's style of play more than Pete's. I remember those gems from Nadal.

^ I confess I only generally like specific Nadal matches. Nadal v Murray/Djokovic/Federer/Del Potro/Monfils/Tsonga/Berdych/Gulbis. Probably a few others. But I just don't like watching players being ground down. There was a year.. I want to say 2010, when Rafa was imperious. Played superb attacking tennis and just blew people off the court. He was worth watching then. It's a matter of taste. I just like attacking (as opposed to counter-attacking) tennis.. hence Mac/Edberg/Rafter/Federer

^ Likewise. There's a reason I'd prefer to watch MMA than Shakespeare. One is fast, aggressive and exciting whereas the latter is a long, slow, drawn out, painful affair.

I loved Pete's play because it was economic, dynamic and without fuss. He snuffed out hope like a whip on a candle. He was pure authority on court, oblivious to objections. When the stakes were highest, Pete was cold. I think he'd be immense in this era, too, as a pure classicist. The uniformity of styles and speeds would be something he'd look on as an opportunity to achieve even more...

For sure it was 2010 and I also thought it was Nadal's most watchable year in terms of him playing much more aggressive tennis than usual. In particular the most aggressive match I've seen from him and undoubtedly imo the best he's ever played on clay also was the 2010 Monte Carlo final where he absolutely destroyed Verdasco 6-0 6-1.
