And a nice little breadstick for Benneteau.

Dammit, almost forgot about that. Yeah that was pretty terrible allright. But it looks okay at IW.

"Okay" - he's been stuck at okay for some time. Becker hasn't even gotten it to where it's "good". :)

Fair enough. That said, those two volleys in the first game were just very good. That's why I probably brought it up.

He's worked on the volley so much, he should be able to hit some good ones when there's no pressure. In the heat of a match, when the pressure is on?? It's been another story. He will never be a natural with the volley, but hopefully it continues to improve.

Glad to hear it's not a good match 'cos I haven't been watching. Will watch the later match though for sure.

What I meant was I don't feel bad missing it now if it's not a great match, not that I'm happy you're all being subjected to torturous viewing :D

Benneteau is defintely not rising to the occasion. I don't mind it too much though.

I'd like to see Ernie go nuts too

I expect Novak wants to get through this one quickly as possible - with a semi tomorrow and the final on Sunday.

The draw has been great so far. It's been good to get some confidence and all.

Go? Methinks it's a permanent condition.

I'm glad he had that match with Cilic. Marin played some very good tennis that first set and it made Novak step up and they hit a lot of balls - which was very good for him.

If he plays Isner there won't be any rhythm. If he plays Ernie, that will be a fun match. Fed will probably be waiting in the final.

Sure do. I hate watching Isner but I love watching Gulbis so I hope he wins. Nothing more boring than Isner except maybe Karlovic. But Karlovic is at least a funny guy. His twitter page has some hilarious stuff.

Isner is a nice guy too. And I am not American.

With Ernie I wouldn't be surprised if one day he wins a slam. He reminds me of Ivanisovic (childhood hero of mine, together with Agassi and Bruguera).

Did Fowler say Nole's 3 of 14 on break point conversion? Not good.

He is 3/14, yes. Benneteau has a good serve though.

+ he doesn't need to be better here. It's almost over.
