It's just what Lindsay said. Vickery became a wall and Mugu could not hit through her. This looks like Sloane at last year's USO except this girl has a bit more power.

Great win for Vickery. I'm a bit disgusted with Mugu, though. She showed less than the heart of a champion.

Maybe thinking of Vicky Duval?

Yep,. got them mixed up.

Just checked out her bio. Sports runs in the family. . Father was pro soccer player; mother ran track in high school; brother plays football at South Carolina State (defensive back) ..

Vickery totally deserved the win. Mugu reminds me of Sharapova. Mindless ball bashing and screaming. Wasn’t it obvious she couldn’t hit through Vickery’s defense? No backup plan if power hitting proves insufficient.

Looking forward to Vika vs Sloane. I can’t see Sloane winning that.

Maddie Keys lost in straight sets, first set wasn't even close!

Keys hasn't been same since her US open final.

Venus comes through in straights and books her spot in R3 for Sister Act 29. Will Serena meet her there?

Serena is shaking the rust off as she goes, but Bertens has been giving her trouble. The serve is really not on yet.

EDIT: Serena wins it! Her game needs some work, but her champion's spirit is still there. So, yes, Venus and Serena to meet on Monday.

Serena wins. We will indeed have an all Williams match at IW. Does anyone remember the last time they played against each other at IW. :p

Makarova can sneak a win against a favorite as well.
She should match up well against Angie, although Maka has issues against walls!
She does better with heavy hitters.

K...
I like the smaller font score better, fits the page nicer, easier to read too as it all fits in the screen.
Thank you for posting it.

Kvitova playing a 16-year American Amanda Anisimova, reigning Jr. Champion, and the kid is up a break in the first. Almost just got broken back, but saved it.
