This match is kind of reminding me of the Goffin match at the tour finals. I know it's windy today...but Roger's too cautious and not nearly aggressive enough. Just like the Goffin match...

I'm watching ESPN...Patrick McEnroe said it's because it's really windy - and because Coric doesn't handle slow balls as well as pace. And that's also why Roger's been hitting down the middle of the court a lot. That Coric doesn't handle the balls in the middle of the court very well.

we're all sitting wondering how on earth Roger won. He didn't play well at all, but gutted it out

One other observation from this match - This was almost like clay court tennis and Roger didn't look too happy with not being able to be aggressive. So...I'm going to say Roger skips the clay season again this year. This was way too much WORK to win a match. :lulz2:
