Aga drops the first set to the British #1 6-4
Heather is getting her game on!

I haven't watched much and had no idea Hingis was there and seeded 1st in doubles with Mirza?! Who? They've had 2 easy wins and will play WC since fifth seeds upset by them in the last round! I could have sworn they said Hingis wasn't playing! :puzzled  I hope we get to see some doubles! She's always good for entertainment; classic game which still works for her! :clap :popcorn

Does Serena have the night match tonight at 10:00. I want to take a nap but I do not want to miss her match in the event she's playing a day match. I am in MD.

Depends on how long a nap! The tennis scoring page of ESPN says she's the 3rd match up! Looks like both Roger and Serena will play during the day, not tonight! Anyone else? :puzzled :nono  :dodgy:

Well done Watson defeating Aga 64 64

Back to the drawing board for you Aga,I dont think Martina will be very happy with your game at present.I also feel it is a 'make or break year for Aga'

Upset alert Watson serving for the match against Aga

This is amazing to me; esp. on the ladies side! Britain proper has been as empty as any 3rd world nation with little to brag about! They had a blip with Henman and brought in a hired gun from Canada in Greg Rusedski, but the ladies haven't been competitive since the likes of Virginia Wade, Sue Barker, and Jo Durie! That's been a long time! :cover :puzzled :nono

Just heard Mary say it's coming on right after the match that's on. Guess I can't take my nap.
