Let's see if Milos has a loss of focus after that set. Ralf will be looking for the opening.

Wouldn't surprise me if he lost this set 6-2.

Raonic isn't going to go away, especially for a guy with a big serve. He's too ambitious to give up.

Seriously, this match is so frustrating because Nadal is giving himself a lot of chances in Raonic service games but the moment he gets a break point he puts the ball on the net.

This match could have been easily over if it wasn't for Nadal putting the ball on the net on break points or match point.

Well it's not like he chooses to he's just pitiful when the pressure is on in 3rd sets most of the time. Not today so far as he's up to 3 games so far this set but still plenty of time for him to royally screw things up.

Make that 4 games. He's greatly exceeded what I expected from him so far this set.

It's this next game that will show if Raonic is still a muppet or indeed a much improved player.

For Raonic, he just needs to hold for two more games and it is tiebreak time.

What a sweet deft touch on the volley there. Nicely done for a tall guy.

He's no muppet, but he only has so many tools. But he could yet make them work in his favor.

After a pile of forehand errors suddenly Raonic's forehand is pretty deadly again.

Well, I don't like Raonic very much but I'm very impressed with this performance, mentally more than anything.

What a baffling performance from Rafa though. His game was all there in the first set and a half and it's all just evaporated?

And world #6. You really don't give much ground.

TennisFanatic, Nadal's game didn't evaporated at all, he just couldn't capitalize on Raonic's serve since the second set.

I second this. Not a fan. But that was strong strong play. He seemed to out-gut Rafa. You don't see that often
