He's definitely come a long way. I remember in the early years, it was painful to watch him at net. Almost as bad as Shaq at the FT line. :cover

First return that Novak doesn't put on Andy's shoelaces and Andy puts it right into the net 2-0 Novak

Murray just doesn't have it. He cannot hang consistently w/ Novak from the baseline (not that many people can, but some others show more promise than Andy).

Poor Pavlik rooting for Andy. Are all those highlights of Novak? He's the only one winning any points out there. :snicker

Novak hitting winners at will... from Andy being up 40-15 to deuce.

Beautiful point from Andy to get the advantage.

Finally, a decent point from Andy and he gets on the board. 3-1

Djokovic's crosscourt forehand is looking ominously good. It appears it has improved and he is able to hit clear winners consistently with it. Added to that, the laser backhand, and he could become harder to play against.

Well people; is this a case of Nole playing well and overpowering Andy into submission or are some going to say Murray didn't have it today? Andy's hitting all his shots, so my thought is Nole's just not allowing him to win many points! If Murray could get just a foothold, he might extend it a little, but it doesn't look good for him!

Obviously from the baseline, Murray is toast in this matchup. But only he controls how well he serves. He's not even winning his serve games w/ any kind of consistency. I think it's a combo of Novak overpowering him, but Andy's been an easy target today.

A bit of both. I struggle to find any areas in Nole's game today where you'd say he's capable of doing it much better.

Andy has served horribly today and has got his tactics all wrong. Only in the last few games has he started playing how he should have been but it's still not been enough. At least he's avoided bagels.

Prayerfully, this will be over soon and maybe we'll see more competitive match against the one-sleeve bomber.
