Poor Fed, lost out on the extra match practice. :cry

Exhibition match? :nono :dodgy: :cover

This was not your usual fun exhibition match where they do silly things like asking kids from the audience to hit with them or stupid trick shot attempts on one leg, etc. It was a proper tournament with proper matches and the best thing he could have done. If he played a regular tournament and lost in his first match he'd have no other match play. He also got a lot of great practice with overheads and volleying in the doubles, which really tests the reflexes.

I think Swiss should have been in the final today. It would do good to Roger. He would have a chance to play under pressure in a final (final has its own pressure, right) and he would not have had to play a pressure match directly at Melbourne. But again, the match against Zverev was a pressure match too. So, that might have done the needful hopefully.

I think Fiero meant that perhaps Fed can play in some Exhibition match before AO to get some extra practice, as a reply to my comment.

Doubt it lol. Think he was slagging his choice of playing an exhibition tournament but we all know (including Roger himself) that playing Hopman Cup was a great choice.

Front...I have observed Nick the past few days..Does it appear that he is on some type of antidepressants or bipolar meds...

Today, either Nick wasn't on his medication or it wore off late in the 2nd set. :nono
