You know, what a dummy I am, but I thought that this was the Zverev that Rafa is facing in Brisbane. There really ought to be a law. One of them should be forced to change his name. I think instead of being called "Zverev". the geezer who's facing Ralph should be called "Qdtzercvy". It would make things so much simpler... :popcorn

It Is easy buddy:

Misha is the old one
Alex (Sasha) is the young one with the big prospects.

And by the way, the geezer is younger than Rafa

Considering Fed won one set and all sets went to TB, it is not a bad loss given that he is coming after 6 months break and playing a lad 16 years younger.

Now, Zverev becomes one of the few players with a winning record against Roger (2-1).

USA has won Group B.

Winner of France vs. Swiss Tie will play the USA in the finals.

No Aussie Team in the final? How embarrassing! What did they have 2 or 3 chances and blew it huh? :nono  :cover

I hate Zverev so much. He would have crumbled very early if he played Murray or No2e, but against Federer he can always play 600% and literally doesn't miss first serves.
Zverev deserves to go to hell and his punishment would be to play peak Nadal at Roland Garros for eternity. And the faster he hits, Rafa's defence just becomes better.

In all seriousness though, awful match from Fed. Too many bad! errors and shaky serving. The AO draw will either make or break him.

Where's Darth, This is his season..His Beloved is back playing again, his hated one is back playing again ..the packers are making a playoff Super Bowl run and Lord Darth Vader:emperor: is back slaughtering the alliances (rebels).

Unofficially 2-1, officially 1-1 since this tournament isn't part of the regular tour. Full props to Zverev though, it really should be 2-1 in his favour. Must watch some highlights.

Mischa was actually a decent prospect 8-10 years ago. He finished 2006 ranked #151, the 7th highest teenager - behind some big names like Novak, Andy, del Potro, as well as the talented Querrey and Gulbis and the disappointing Korolev. He was in the top 100 for a few years as a 20-23 year old but never progressed. Not sure why. Then he fell out of the top 100 for more than five years, not playing much until making a "comeback" in 2016 and finishing #51, his best year-end result. Clearly he's got some talent and maybe can put together a couple years in the 20-50 range.

That is exactly why I don't see him a threat at the AO

See what happens?! As soon as he acts like a human being, the accusations fly that Kyr's on meds! :dodgy::rolleyes:

Nick is being sedated, without being a medical doctor, I am almost certain of it.

Roger played so well today against Gasquet. In unreal form considering the time off and how little he's played actual matches. Backhand is becoming a real weapon again.

Edited 'cos 2nd video was deleted. Put up a new link but shorter highlights. Had to watch it again as Roger was so damn good this match.

^ And yes, there were a good few errors in there too but overall the level was extremely high after the first few games.
