Yeah Durant is on another planet right now. Usually players will catch fire for a game or 2. He has been going off like this all month with no end in sight.

^ I guess he wants that undisputed vote for MVP this year, eh?

Well Lebron didn't win every vote last year so I'm sure it won't happen with KD this year. But barring a huge drop off and/or OKC falling a bit in the standings he is almost definitely getting it this year.

The most impressive thing was how well OKC played as a team on the whole last night.

The most talented player in the league might yet lead the Knicks to the #8 spot in the mighty East. If that isn't MVP worthy what is??

Yeah, just check out his highlights from last night.

The question you pose there is stupid for a multitude of reasons.

Cali, one nice game out of 82/year does not a career of them make. :nono

Are you serious????

He's had far more than one good game this season. Yes, he has mostly been off with his shooting, but throughout his career his level has generally been very high.

Of course I'm serious. I don't joke about basketball. Meanwhile, OKC is putting on another clinic against an East Coast team. The Nets have 34 points at the half. D Money has 22 of OKC's 63 half time points.

Any interest in the All-Star Game? Chances are I will only be catching the 4th quarter as Shameless is on at 8. The 4th quarter is the only interesting part of the game anyways.

The new dunk contest format looked kind of stupid but I only saw highlights. The Wall dunk was sick though

The 3pt shooting and the dunk contest was pretty good. BellyNelly is a serious 3pt king. Bulls shouldn't have let him go. The East had the best dunkers though. Ross, George and Wall put on a show, especially Wall as he completed his on the first attempt.

The new format for the Slam Dunk Contest was absolutely ridiculous. Can't believe anyone thought that was a good idea. The actual dunks were really good though, which makes me even more upset that we couldn't have a proper slam dunk contest.

Dude, don't get me started. The format was beyond stupid. If the Slam Dunk Contest was getting stale, it wasn't due to the its format (how complicated can it be: Someone dunks, the judges judge. That's hardly what's at fault).

In recent years, they've had issues getting the top players to participate. I don't agree w/ the new format (and it probably won't return), but I understand them changing things trying to draw a little more interest.

The amazing story of Caron Butler. I made another thread also because I think that this video is worth it.

Heat vs. Thunder tonight should be a good one. Westbrook will be back and Lebron and Durant will be trying to prove a point to each other.

Looked like Lebron got jacked twice on the nose, definitely was as he drove it in but I also think he got hit on the way down... lots of blood, could very well be broken. We can call it the Achilles nose :)

It was ridiculous that he still managed to finish that play over the top of Ibaka. I bet we will be seeing an ugly Richie Hamilton type mask for a couple weeks...

The Lost Angeles Lakers are now last in the West. Who could imagine that? :puzzled

On other hand the Kings are a much better team than what their position suggests. If they keep Gay and Cousins healthy then they are a good team. The coach is doing a good job there.
