I just thought it was funny that he was chastising Wimbledoner for theorizing 20 v 17 as if 21 were already in the bag. Jumpy is you, dude.

How does the statement, "IF he wins Wimbledon" make it sound like it's in the bag.

Quick change of fortunes early in the 2nd set, as Paire breaks.

That's not the point, Wimbledoner said, if he finishes his career 20-17, which is where they are now. Why would Federberg say: "Am I missing something?" No, that's where it stands now. Moving on, lest we get told off again.

Just seeing the highlights vs Bedene he looked really bad. These 3 setters vs scrubs are not a good sign. And getting broken a ton so far. I hope he didn't totally slack on his months off.

on the contrary it means that he'll know what he needs to work on going into Wimbledon. Better he plays shite now and focusses later, rather than feels complacent that it's all in hand

There's just no intensity mate. In anything he's doing. In the first set Paire went nuts when he was broken because it really was down to him. Roger is just not bringing it at all. Almost feels like he doesn't give a toss right now. Let's see if he ups it in the 3rd. There's gonna be a 3rd set..

Almost rather he lose and get his head on straight. Next 7 months are the most important of his life or at least career. He has to realize that.

I think this set will tell us a lot. If he steps it up it will mean that the mentality is there. He’s just not fully back in it

Fed thought Paire would roll over after that first set. But you still gotta put him away.
