But broken right away here. Think he's starry eyed over his idol.

And Fed gifts the break back. I can't understand Fed at times why he's so unstable even after 20 slams.

Fed is pissed. Never seen that gesture before.

This is the third consecutive match that Fed is struggling with his service games. This will be enough for Kudla and this tournament but won't get it done against the big boys in Wimbledon.

Roger getting pissed that these guys are resisting him. But that's his problem. He's trying to coast. It's noticeable that when it matters he ups his level and he wins comfortably. This is encouraging. The level is there. We just have to hope he can access it consistently when he needs to

There you go. Turns it on when he needs to. Almost feels like this week has been a chore for him.

I'm just relieved it didn't go to a third.

Hope Coric wins so that Fed gets good practice for faker

I'm just hoping he's truly healthy. He was barely moving the whole match, even the serve looked stiff. He upped it when it mattered though. Coric will be a nice step up in competition and I'm happy for that.

It's important for Fed to not only beat Coric tomorrow but beat him comprehensively like he did Raonic in Stuttgart. He needs to make a statement to the rest of the field that even though he hasn't produced his best tennis he's still the man to beat on grass.
