Yeah but depending who would be cooked, isn´t ? :whistle:But I wouldn't mind seeing a Fed-RBA barbecue in the final
Khachanov in semi
Federer can do much better. The groundies can be much better.
Have to watch the match. But Fed seems to be getting into form nicely.Sounds like a pretty routine match. Right now on grass he looks like the man to beat at Wimbledon...Roger was 2/12 on BPs today. Weren't we discussing this recently? And that was against Mayer, who's only ever taken one set off of him.
Still, Mayer is no pushover on this court. I'm OK with this mate - no alarms necessary. Roger just needs to keep on getting it done. Semi Finals here we come.
No, he's playing very well. Super-aggressive. I was just digging at Darth on a previous argument. However, the commies did mention today that BP conversion isn't Roger's best career stat. (Only they weren't as diplomatic.)Have to watch the match. But Fed seems to be getting into form nicely.Sounds like a pretty routine match. You shouldn't sleep on RBA..Didn't see the match but was following the scores and he seemed to handle him easily. On paper the only one that should give him issues is Zverev. Joking aside about a final barbecue with RBA I would like to see him play Zverev. That will show us where he is at and even if he loses I'd still favor him in a match with Zverev at Wimbledon. And if he beats him here he definitely beats him there. Zverev is possibly a top 3-4 favorite at Wimby this year IMO.
You shouldn't sleep on RBA..
I didnt see it that way. RBA played great and keep the ball deep on Roger. He made the game uncomfortable for Roger by extending the points and hitting deep to Roger's fh which robbed him of his precious set up time.He is surprising today but he isn't beating Fed on grass. RBA has yet to win a set against him even when Fed played like crap in Miami vs him this year. Fed at age 45 could beat him on a fast court.
Roger's back will prevent him from playing to that late age.. If Roger has another series of long 4 to 5 setters, he may not be able to escape like he did at AO. If Roger can avoid the Berdych and JowillieTs types of player, he will make the semis. It really depends on Roger's back. Only so many matches for a tennis player's back does Father Time allows for even the Rog. You know what Charles Barkley said about old players..He is surprising today but he isn't beating Fed on grass. Playing fast is an understatement.. those courts are lightning fast which really is a huge advantage for Roger..Sasha may be able to defeat Roger if he can cause some discomfort in Roger's fh.But I thought Mayer was part of what made this such a tough draw for Fed at the start also this is much faster grass than that garbage at Wimbledon, tougher to break.
