Good fight from both.

Yeah, it was entertaining highwire stuff. Good grasscourt fast action. Could have gone either way, but Kohl handled it better at the end...

So Roger got a walkover it looks like? I don't think that necessarily does him any favors, I'd rather he get the extra match for practice.

I'd assume so.

They play the winner of Struff/Brown v. Karlovic/Pavic, who play today.

He needs the points! Roger was lucky to get by that kid from Portugal yesterday! :nono

6-4, 6-2 second and third sets has nothing to do with luck.

He won't get many points here even if he wins the tournament. A few years ago he probably wouldn't need much if any practice to adjust to grass from clay. I don't think that's the case anymore. Match practice, mainly wins, should help his form/confidence.

Nishikori has the chance to have beaten Federer on hard, clay and grass after tomorrow. He takes a winning record into the clash. I can only see one winner though and it's not the Japanese.

I hope you are right but I am not counting Kei out. He is not intimidated by anyone and when he is on, he is on. Roger will have to serve great and have some easy holds.

Thanks Pavlik89 for posting this. I actually enjoyed watching this because I am always encourage to see new or a different tennis talent beside the usual suspects(Nadal,Murray, Fed and Djoker). As for the match, Brown played spectacular and Rafa legs were DOA. Kirean, I didn't have a problem with Brown showing enthusiasm after only the big points.. he earned it and who can blame him for being excited playing against the GOAT.. Brown is a quality gent.. no need to label him as the predator.. I don't think any harm was intended by you but folks on this board would categorize him as they call DYjr a Punk, Monfils a Clown or JowillieTs as lazy or not smart when in essence they are all just tennis players with different type of games. I have never heard one bad thing about these fellas on or off the court.

That's true, A-P, and I admired his game and effort, while also wondering why he doesn't play that against everybody. There's a fickleness there, but it wasn't there when he faced Rafa.

By the way, the dreadlocks made me call him the Predator, first time he came on court the other day, a shot from behind. He looked impressive and mean. I also called Rafa the Terminator, but unfortunately he didn't.

And you'll have seen from watching it how well Brown played, and how silly the notion that Rafa tanked the match is...

Yep he definetly didn't tank that match, he wanted to get some grass matches in and he looked pretty fed up to have lost especially so quickly and with no rallys. He's even put on his face book page that he's not happy he lost. Brown just played lights out and it's a shame he lost yesterday but he's just too inconsistent to go very deep in tournaments. Did you see how may double faults he did yesterday, ridiculous for a professional player.
