Two sets of twins back-to-back--what are the odds of that happening to a couple I wonder? At any rate, congratulations to Roger and Mirka, and the lads' two five year old sisters (I think).

Twins again? Some strong genes in the Fed/Mirka background. Very happy for them.

I do wonder if they'll hire a 2nd nanny to care for the boys? Fed will need to upgrade to a mini-bus to shoot his new commercials. :D

Boy that post is going to bite you in the behind when Murray wins the FO, Wimbledon and the US Open back-to-back-to-back... :

Just saw the news about Roger and Mirka's second set of twins. So the rumours were true. That's crazy! Here's hoping for some great tennis players in the future. Not sure about the names though..

And best thing is there's no chance Roger will miss the French Open now.

This is true, but you;d wonder what kind of preparation he has. The chap will be busy and dizzy a while, he may not be ready for Paris...

^ The top dogs aren't in top shape form wise and physically so they haven't much of an edge on him right now if you ask me.

Well, he's going to rely on someone else plunging the dagger into Ralph, as usual, and maybe knees and back too, but I was more thinking of his own prep and game. Roger's clay preparation is out the window. I'm sure he'll play Paris, but to what level?

^ Anyone's guess really. My point is Nadal's playing badly, Djokovic has a dodgy wrist, Ferrer had a great win over Nadal and lost miserably after that. Murray has barely played anything on clay this year so who exactly is in top form for RG? No one really. Can't see that Roger's at much more of a loss preparation wise than anyone else. We can gauge form of the other top players in Rome mostly as Madrid isn't even proper clay so he's really missing one proper clay event and actually did a lot better at Monte Carlo than Djokovic and Nadal after a wild card. So far a good clay prep.

About 1 in 3000 or so they say.

That is so awesome though. I hope at least one of the boys decide to play tennis. :clap

Odds??? The odds go way down with IVF gender selection. It's all the rage in the celebrity world.

The girl twins are identical, which all but rules out IVF. I think I read somewhere that Roger's sister has twins, as well? Mirka must have them in her family, too, I'm thinking. Anyway, congratulations to the Federer's, and well-done Mirka, I'd say, at this moment.

UPDATE: Yes, Roger's sister also has a set of twins, via twitter.

Congrats to Roger and Mirka! The man has always been poetry in motion both on and off the tennis court. Why shouldn't he have two sets of twins, lol. What's next for Roger? I don't know about another major, but hell, why not another set of twins? (This time a girl and a boy just to shake things up!)

Note to self: stay away from Twitter.

Funny you say that. I just closed my account. I had it for 3 years and posted maybe 10 times.

I'm coming to realize that twitter isn't for normal mortals. It's a mouthpiece for PR. Everyone on twitter is selling something. But for those who have a reason to broadcast, it's quick short-hand.
