Am gutted to read that James has passed away aged 82. Various stage and screen stars have taken to social media and paid their respects. Thought i'd post a few here for you. R.I.P James Caan...

RIP Louise Fletcher, known mainly for her role as Nurse Ratched — one of the greatest performances of all time. Look how many moods she displays in a still shot!

I love this, from one of her obituaries:

Fletcher knew her life had changed forever when she watched Cuckoo’s Nest with an audience for the first time and saw how people reacted to a scene in which McMurphy tries to kill her character.

“It was in Chicago, and it was a packed house,” she recalled. “When he strangles her, the audience stood up and yelled and cheered. Stood up. It was unbelievable. I was thrilled.”

Fantastic film (One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest), and she was superb.

I saw Fleetwood Mac in 1979/1980 (they were promoting Tusk). It was a great concert, which they memorably closed with McVie singing Songbird.
Unforgettable voice and a great songwriter. I rather hate to admit that the last concert I saw in DC, where I grew up, was Fleetwood Mac, promoting the eponymous album...before even Rumours. Fabulous concert.
