So who thinks there's nothing wrong with Federer arriving back on the tour after months of rehabilitation to be made the favorite? In WTA, once Kim Clijsters came back after giving birth. I think she took more than an year off. So, basically did not even have a ranking beside her name. She played three warm up tourneys and then won the USO.

But, no way is ATP and Fed comparable to that situation. Fed was basically ranked in top 5 before he left and he was off only for 6 months. Players are able to beat him (Z did it).

it's certainly not his fault even if it helped him a lot to have Zverev instead of Sir Andy in quarter
I don't think it'll happen often to have both N°1 and N°2 out early, it's an opportunity for all the remained players, let's see which one'll make it happen
