I haven't looked, but I don't think so! I believe Nole's over 400 points ahead of Nadal now and still acquiring more in Dubai! He'd have to be upset tomorrow and Nadal win in Mexico to even come close! Rafa'll have to wait for another opportunity! Miami/IW won't do it either since Nole isn't defending that many points early in the season!

Yes. The only opportunity ..it was stated if novak looses to silent KK and when Rafa wins this tournament..it didn’t happen ..so Rafa will have to wait until IW..personally I would rather see him win Miami finally

What is Wimbledon supposed to do to compensate for his lack of play? They going to give him an honorary #2 seed or actually use the formula utilizing 2 season record of grass court play to determine it?

That's what I said a few weeks ago..even if Rafa has a great spring.. including RG..he would have to win a grasscourt championship before they would even consider consider giving him a higher ranking than Roger..no chance to get a higher seed than Novak..

Djoker is really on fire in Dubai. Probably his best return i saw from him; at 0:40 in 2 or 3 game, 1st set. Just booomb. When he won he had 3rd game. Also yesterday match, he played very strong.

Yeah he looks very good. Hopefully he can carry that level into clay season.

Novak is playing so confident right now and not giving much chance to anyone. I expected Karen to put some fight today, but all he got was 4 games. Novak is 16:0 in h2h against Monfils. Hard to imagine that french could not beat him at least once. Could be interesting tomorrow, Monfils is beating everyone in last couple of weeks.

Also watched Tsitsipas against Struff. They played a good quality match. Greek was so thrilled to go through showing a lot of emotions.

Great to see Evans in semifinal. He is playing really good since the atp cup rising to a new career high in top 30.

Nole made it to 17 slams just recently so beating La Monf 17th time in a row should be easy peasy. I'll take it with caution, could be 3 sets.

The only thing that will inspire Monfils is if his girlfriend Elina tells him if he doesn't win tomorrow he will have to spend a month on the couch..No nooky if he can't defeat Nole

What’s going on with Monfils? He’s finally playing at the level I knew he could. Very happy for him. If only he had better fitness. He has terrible cardio for a pro tennis player.

He's South African. I haven't been able to watch TC lately, so there maybe be someone new...there is actually a new guy who is hispanic, I think. But I don't know who'd be the old guy but Cliffie. Maybe they have that lovely Italian fellow: Ubaldo Scanagatta?

I would give La Monf reasonable chances due to the following.

1. This clown is on fire. He won a 250 and followed it up with another 500 win and now on to SF here.
2. It is tough to beat Novak in a final, but this is only semifinal.
3. Finally and most importantly, Novak has now sealed the deal for #1 until IW at least. So, we can expect
a little dip from him.

p.s. Just so folks don't mistake me, having said all of the above, Novak still remains overwhelming favorite in this match.
