I don't see how Gael can sleep at night. 3 mps.. totally unacceptable
Haha yes, he should had read your recommendation how to beat Novak.
He was as close as possible.
I honestly feel sorry for him, he would have deserved it.
Roger can’t sleep till today.

This is a world of Nadalovic, with both of them easily winning their 500s. The others merely live in it ephemerally.

Novak not that easy. Gael in the form of his life , never closer to beat him. Greek also not that bad.

Good homework. This would actually explain why Mofils will never win GS. People have "slow" and "fast" muscle fibres. He is used to play 2 sets and going down with time. Definately Monfils is fastest on short distance, but for 3-5 sets best are mix of muscle fibres, would say Đoković would be winner on some Half marathon or even Marathon.

And congrats to Djoker for 3rd title this year. Gael prepared him very well, Cicipas didn't have any chance.

p.S. I would also write, male marathoners (white) are best in 30+ years. While female are best older, almost 34-38. But females dont have so much play (2-3 sets)

The problem with Gael, IMO, is not so much about fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibres. He does not have the commitment needed to win trophies and important matches. That is why he has lost so many matches after being in a winning position. This is not something that I am making up. Gael himself has told openly in an interview that he does not want to work that hard to become a winner. It is OK with him to be an also ran, as long as makes a lot of money giving him a comfy living (which of course he gets).

GSM, that's what I realized about him over 7 years ago, he doesn't want to be a champion..I don't watch his matches late in a tournament with the hope that he will carry home the title..

That sums up quite a few talented players, ( not just the French!) ie the glass ceiling they don’t want particularly to break through.
