A bit disappointing but not unexpected. Undisputed No. 1.

And Murray finishes No. 2 for the season! (Had to throw that in)

Congratulations to Novak Djokovic for winning his 5th (4th straight) World Tour Finals crown. This is 11th title of the year in 16 tournaments. Pretty remarkable year for Djokovic.

As for Federer, he just couldn't hit a second serve return. In addition, he didn't serve particularly well in the 1st set. But overall though, he had another solid year. He reached two slam finals and he was the only player to beat Djokovic twice this year!

Not twice.. I think it's three times -- and nobody else for miles around that can give Djokovic any competition, it seems

It was really simple – – the world number one played like the world number one and Roger played like the second best player in the world. Frankly, Roger did not play anywhere near the level he did in the round Robin, but the same can be said for Mr. Djokovic. Novak played at a sustained level of excellence this time around and Roger simply did not bring it. He pressed too much and made some errors when he couldn't afford to do so. Novak was better in the big moments in various games. Roger?--not so much. It is really that simple. There's a reason why Novak is now number one and Roger is not.

The man from Serbia beat Rafael and Roger in straight sets back to back. He was quality in both matches and looked and played like a number one player in the world. There was a time Roger and Rafael were like this. It is the time of Novak.

Very good performance by Novak but lousy way for the match to end on a double fault. Most telling stats were Roger's failures on 2nd serve returns and just way too many errors tonight. He had the right game plan but the execution just wasn't good enough. Great way for Novak to cap off an amazing season with the win, just would've preferred the match to end with a Novak winner rather than a double fault. :nono

^ I like the new scruffy unshaven look. Hopefully Roger stays that way for next season. Looks more menacing.

^^^^^

I agree, even though Roger wasn't too menacing today--other than as against himself. Lol!!!

Yes. Way better than the "metro" look.

Congratulations to Novak on winning the WTF (and for an excellent year). He made sure that there was no doubt as to who is the boss today.

Fed's serve was poor today and also the backhand was breaking up routinely in long rallies.
While the second problem is expected, the first one is not.

Now Novak had 5 WTF trophies and is almost sure to match and exceed Roger's ^.

Good side: Fed didn't take Djokers chair again. Towels went to wright hand.

For game: Fed ran out of gas as I predicted - he peaked to early and Djoker probably make good tactic to loose that one.

Bad side: The Muzzard is still taking place which isn't his.

For next year, I think Big three will ride again, as they did. Don't know why, but have such feeling.
