Then why Rafa yesterday had to play the first match instead of to play later when he played the day before meanwhile Roger and Novak were resting that day? I don't get it  :nono

Someone from that group had to play the early match, and it wouldn't have been fair if it was Stan. Rafa had plenty of time to get ready for it...

People forget, the rankings probably has a lot to do with the order of play as well! Rafa is #5 for all those people who can't understand that! The lower ranked players usually get the short end of the stick! :p :puzzled  :dodgy: - Oh boy; the crowd is acting up! They're actually applauding Nole's errors; real jerks in England I see! :cover :eyepop

As usual, Fed's backhand is breaking down in long rallies. Other than that Fed is doing fine.
Time is slipping away. Novak is two games away from clinching the first set.

you realise you could make a template and use it after every Fed-Djoko match everywhere; apparently Djoko is so loved that the crowds everywhere are jerks.. lol. Is there a common factor to be found anywhere? :p

Federer is only serving at 60% and only winning 42% of his second serve.

Meanwhile, Djokovic is serving at 71% and winning 81% of his second serve.

If you are Federer, that is a recipe of disaster.

Djokovic's second serve is great especially his kick serve. At the same time, Federer's second serve return is horrible right now. He's gotta make Djokovic pay for hitting his 2nd serve.

Now, that was vintage clutch serving from Federer. Five straight first serves after going down 0-40.

Once again, Federer 2nd serve return killed him last game.

I'm going to ahead and congratulate Nole because Roger is playing like crap in yet another final. Way too many errors on the backhand. Credit to Nole for putting him under pressure, but damn, Rog...it's the US Open & Wimbledon all over again. I will say, however, that no offense to Roger, but Nole SHOULD be winning these matches.

On a side note - I hate when Nole starts whining to his camp for no reason when he's winning. That's why people start rooting against him...
