Sorry tossip mate I think youve run of the trail for this forum. I expected a bunch of fans trying to discuss tennis in a proper manner, so i completely agree with you SBH. And about the slumping - I think we all know that and it won't get any better with you writing that - shame on you - try to be polite and be a critic in a proper manner, they - those luvly ladies -are just trying their best.

Masha should make it to the QF at least *hopeful look* - I can not see any real obstacles to hinder her

R1 S.Hsieh
R2 E. Bouchard or T. Pironkova
R3 T Paszek or M. Oudin or J. Zheng or V. Dolonc
R4 D. Cibulkova or L. Taurenko or M. Erakovic or E. Baltacha or qualifier or A. Canandu or K. Knapp or S. Stephens

If she can make it that far then her likely QF opponents are: P. Kvitova or J. Jankovic or S. Stosur
and her likely SF opponents are: N. Li or V. Azarenka
A tough draw for sure but not impossible -

I think she'll make it so the SF, for sure, but if she meets Azarenka things could go poorly. I would give Maria a better chance against N. Li than Victoria.

I tend to agree. Maria can probably take down Li, but I think Vika will defeat her

Apology accepted but i just think you crossed my invisible line - ok to critisize when they are PLAYING tennis - here they just had a cosy moment together as those friends they are. I think we should see more of that, it's enough that the weather is cold there doesn't have to be cold air between the players when they are not playing IMHO. Enough of this - looking forward for some exciting moments in Paris.:)

It is one thing to discuss a player's game or the reasons for her fall down the ranking but it is quite another thing to post condescending comments to hurt a supporter of a player who also happens to be a respected member of this new forum. Your only intention was to hurt hoergren as your choice of smiley proofs. I assume that you have no sense for sympathy nor decency in you

If you think it is of interest on this forum then you should link to the source or at least quote the interesting part else you comment is completely worthless. Another thing which baffles me is how we suddenly got to talk about Pova and her "secrets" when we were criticizing your lack of decency? Probably a poor diversion to change the focus

I think that Maria only has an advantage on Vika on clay. That being said I think people often overstate the closeness in play between these two as of late. I think Vika is hungrier and often that allows her to tough it out against Maria.

Vika has a really tough draw. Vesnina is JUST outside the seedings and she's Vika's first rounder.

The only spoiler I can see against Sharapova is Cibulkova. I haven't really paid any attention to Cibulkova this year but we all know she plays really well against tall players and on clay. If she makes it to R16 I could see her giving Maria a go.

Also... POOR WOZ! I feel so bad for her that her opener is against Laura Robson. What a downer to have to face a fast rising top 10 killer. Can't a Dane get a break?

I've been busy a lot, sorry I couldn't contribute here.

Oh My, this draw is so one sided! Bottom heavy for sure!

one thing I like about Caro is her patience and she doesnt make a lot of errors. She will run down everything...Robson is the opposite, she gets impatient and starts making errors plus her fitness is in question...I think Woz will win..

Poor Caro, destined for another 1st round exit! I think Laura will steamroll past Caro.
This better wake her up!!

Well Serena looks to be in the mood to make it to round 2. Is it just me or does Pavlyuchenkova seem to be regressing a bit after her strong start?

Ana comes through in 3 sets. Pavly is like that Sunday. She blows hot & cold.

Meanwhile, Serena is on fire. Up 6-0 5-1 and showing no signs of nerves or drama.

Seems we have the first seeded out Nadia Petrova. In a 2½ hour match with some intriguing clay tennis she lost to Monica Puig from puerto Rico #86 in 3 sets 36 75 64. Monica has residence in Miami USA and is just 20 years. Congrats to her for winning over the #11 seed. She never lost her focus which was a little different with Nadia who lost focus in the end.:clap
Monica

A world in which Venus Williams can't hold serve is a world I don't want to live in.
