The same match up happened in a warm-up before Wimby and that too in the same round with British #1 emerging victorious.

He should be able to get some of the old form back when he can get out of the first round, but I don't think he'll go back to being a major force.

Trivia: do you know Zverev Bros are going to play for the first time against each other in QF? As unbelievable as it sounds, ATP shows their H2H record 0-0!
EDIT: I know they played twice in 2012,2014 in Q rounds of challenger tourneys (both won by Mischa - Alex was too young there) but ATP H2H shows only main draw ATP level only, and that's what I meant and what really counts.

I almost thought they had to have played since in the same sections of draws a couple times, but I guess one or both were upset before it occurred!   :ptennis:

I'm really hoping they play each other. It would be kind of fun (for us) and kind of tough (for them.)

Another rain delay. I meant to mention that Frances Tiafoe looked good in his win today. They're showing him on the replay now.

We are having one of the wettest summers on record on the east coast. Look for this to be a feature of the NA HC season.
I am rooting for Misha over Sasha.
I picked Sasha, but it would be fun if the older brother gets one, because I doubt he'll get another.

That is a very positive sign for Andy, beating British #1 (especially since he could not do so just a month ago).

What's even more impressive is that he has won back to back three setters! Both of them went at least 2 hours and 20 minutes.

It seems that Murray is on a better path back than Wawrinka, at least. :p

Yup! Part of the reason is that when Murray is retrieving the ball really well, he gets pumped up and gets the adrenaline going for him. I saw the third set against McDonald and he was really moving well from side to side. His offensive game is still pretty abysmal (especially his 2nd serve) but if he could start moving well match after match to the point where he is back to a top 10 mover, he will be back in the top ranking in no time.

I just look at the draw right now, Murray has a very good chance of reaching at the very least the semifinals. Assuming of course his body holds up...he should able to reach the semifinals.

I am rooting for Misha over Sasha.

Won't be able to watch but likewise. Misha has a much nicer game and isn't a mopey, grumpy bad sportsman like his younger brother who needs to work on his on court demeanor.
