Coric 5-3 2nd set....just an observation from me about Coric's game he does not seem as 'mechanical', he appears to play looser? maybe he has been working on his game, on his comeback to the tour, maybe Don Fabio can shed some light on this as well, if he agree's with me or not?

Agree with you MM. I knew he had a chance last night if he played well and considering Rafa lacked matches. Coric also beat him here a few years back. Hope he stays healthy and gets back where he belongs. Judging on nowadays quality of top 10 players there is certainly a place for him there or very close to it.

And the beat goes on with Coric! Who really would have thunk it? I guess it happens ever so often w/ a Q-fier/LL/WC/PR player actually getting to a SF of a Masters; esp. late in the season! We've been so spoiled w/ the excellence of The Big 3, we'll never understand how difficult it is to win so many events with the best being required to play unless unable! Roger's lead in Masters 1000's was a record I thought he might be able to hold onto, but Nadovic split the clay and HC events with Nole almost matching him at the YEC's! We may never see their kind again! Carlos A. might fill the void! He got here just in time to say he had a taste of the Big 3 with wins over them on clay of all surfaces!

BTW my tennis coach always said to me the BP stat is the most important stat in the game, it really a indication how you played the match.

Carlos must not want to win this match! All I know is at his age I would be coming to the net on those BP's! Even the best passing "shotters" miss; even Borg & Evert! It can be a total bluff, but it won me matches against players with a lot more skill, training and support! It's what I picked up very early on watching the women's game believe it or not! Most were still baseliners in the lower ranks, but the best players attacked the net relentlessly; Court, Navratilova, BJK, Goolagong, Stove, Wade, & Shriver (more than anyone b/c she had no game)!

Does anyone know when this Insane Coaching Trial for the ATP will end.I hope it is over for the USO.
The Young Greek's dad was having a field day when his son was playing against Isner earlier, then again he does it before this Trial Coaching was allowed.
