Zverev did it...he finally channeled his anger in that TB. This is the dig in that I was hoping from Sascha.

Just got back home I was following the scores on my phone

I see we have the "Battle of the Gold Chains" in the final.
I would really love to see 'He who has the Best Hair in Tennis finally win a Masters 1000!!!

new big 4..zed/tits/med/and..erm..theim maybe. current big 3 not included obv.

despite rublev 2nd masters final he is a floating outsider in the current scene
Med, Tits/Zed, and the player to be named later, if you ask me. Thiem is about to go the way of Dimitrov. Rublev is top contender for the 4th guy, and Sinner is in there. Let's see how tomorrow goes. Rublev's stock might be just about to go up. Zverev and Tsitsipas beat each other up, physically and emotionally. I won't be surprised if Andrey hefts that old granny vase tomorrow.

Very impressive win by Zverev, he was down 2 breaks in 3rd set ready to lose and then a comeback like this. Maybe Sascha is just finding his new approach to tennis matches against top guys, keep losing until you realize there is no time to mess around anymore. Swing freely and finish the match. It worked against Novak in OG and now it worked here.

Thiem is about to go the way of Dimitrov.
Thiem is a disappointment ever since he won that USO. He has become philosophical thinking about existence and meaning of life. He should also think about giving a call to Zverev and say sorry bro for that final, I don't know what I was even fighting for.

Honestly, going into this match, I had no skin in the game. I just wanted one of them to show the mettle. It got pretty salty, and I have to say, it was hard not to think that Stefanos was going to the toilet for coaching tips. I just wanted one of them to act like he cared enough, and Zverev did. It wasn't a magnificent performance, but it was a good match to win.

I'm sorry for Thiem's injury issues and recent surgery, but he was having an existential crisis way before that. And yes, I'm hoping that Zverev will go into the USO with a LOT to make up for. Channel that anger and disappointment.

I see. These rivalries with young guys are growing on me, I care more than before so I guess that's a good thing. I think we are going to see more of the salty stuff between them in a future too.

Tsitsipas was the one complaining in the RG final because Novak went to bathroom with the bag and not only in that match but in the previous too, now he is the one doing the same, it seems the phone helps a lot to get new advisers from the coach, so Zverev was right!

I don't know why he wants all this illegal coaching. It's not helping him win these tournaments. How much did it help him yesterday, in Canada, Wimby or against Djoke at RG? Maybe he should figure out on his own how to win these matches and it will actually stick.

Apparently using your brain to figure out how to win matches,is becoming apparently too hard for The Young Greek, quite frankly is is embarrassing at this level.

Wow, I barely turned my head away, and this match is over. Zverev taking no prisoners here? Rublev destined to be and mid-top 10 at best? 5th MS1000 for Zverev. Is he ready to take this and his Olympics to the USOpen?
