Bashing the ball relentlessly wasn't going to cut it for very long! You can live off it for a while, but if you have no game to back it up, others will wise up and more than likely allow Sock to self-destruct; totally inevitable without even watching him! He doesn't have a back up game; like so many other Americans with limited skills of big serving, bashing the ball, and usually playing long drawn out matches ending in TB's! The only shocking thing was how pathetic the tour has gotten to allow Sock to make the top 10 doing it for this long! It's finally caught up to him and he may have to go back to playing doubles seriously to make his bones! :cuckoo:

Young Greek hero blew the first set. Can't really tell if he's fatigued but Mcfly is taking it to him. Lacking anticipating against someone who can take it early isn't good combo.
