Boring..name the last absolutely great match that didn't include one of the big 4 or Stan..its been well documented you fancy the youngings of the ATP, that's good for you but I prefer a healthy big four, IMO

The sport has to move forward. Enough of the big 4, and this is coming from a Djokovic fan.

herios can you, Riotbeard or whomever, name me the last legendary great non big four match

Hmm... I am really struggling haha. I would add Delpo to the list of Big 4 + other interesting players. I even went and looked at the rankings to get my brain going, but could think of nothing. Maybe some of those Dustin Brown matches. I really like watching him, but it's hard to argue they are classics.

Dustin Brown, Steve Darcus, Soderling, ..do I need to continue your thought pattern.. I really was asking a legitimate question but I got this

So, we have a match between one of the best servers and one of the best returners. Normally speaking, this being fast court one would say server would win. But, server being Milos, I say Murray wins.

p.s. Why does this match remind me of USA elections?

It shouldn't. Here we have two smart and respectful individuals with a sense of humor that are good at what they do ;)

Milos just has to remember that he has 3 wins over Murray and those happened when he was so much of a lesser player, technically.
If he serves well and focus all the way through, he could win.

Thinking about the game Muzz has to win this match but the question is in what conditions he is. Of course not as bad as Rafa for obvious reasons but I don't think he is too fresh either. Raonic has not played in Rio and seems to be very motivated (a good advantage) but if Muzz serve and return work well he will do a big favor to his friend Rafa
Come on Muzz, do it!!!!!!!

He should be worse than Rafa as he's played a lot more. Murray could beat Raonic with one leg anyway. The rain delay is helping McToothy though 'cos if they postpone till tomorrow then Fang gets an extra day of rest.

Very impressive movement there by the normally clunky Raonic.

Pretty rubbish returning by Raonic so far and 17 unforced errors is too many.

As if Murray's advantages are not enough, Cilic/Dimi will end at 3 A.M. or these guys will play two matches tomorrow. :cover

With this loss, Nadal will get the 4th seed at the US Open as Raonic needed to reach the finals in order to secure the 4th seed at the US Open. The only good thing is that both Nadal and Wawrinka are not neccessarily in top form so if he could land in either those quarters, he has a good chance to reach the semifinals.

As for Murray, another good win from him. He was returning well but at the same time he almost got disqualified for kicking the ball towards the umpire. The chair umpire gave him that stare like, "What the heck is that?!" He should be well rested for tomorrow's final because of the stupid rain and moronic tournament organizers.

Speaking of organizers, I just do not understand on why can they just have the second semifinal match play on the grandstand? I know it is a business and they have to put it on Stadium 1 but look at the situation right now. There's a great chance that Cilic/Dimitrov has to finish their semifinal match early tomorrow morning. It means they have to play 2 matches in possibly in an 8 hour window. And if they go to a 3rd set, it would be even worse. I just hope they are able to finish their match tonight or else it will be a disaster final tomorrow afternoon/evening.

On a side note: If Cilic wins his semifinal match, he would be the 8th seed at the US Open because he will surpass Tsonga in the rankings and both Federer and Berdych are out of the US Open. It could be a big boost for Cilic if he could grab that 8th seed and not face one of the Big Four in the Round of 16.
