So Robredo, Daveed or Benners will compete for one final spot while Federer, Murray and Raonic fight over the other.

Anarchy, I tell you!

You forgot to include Fog in the second half. :snigger
Hmm, 'forgot' :p

You never know though the way this week is headed.

I second that.
Talking about Fabio, he is out there warming up with Milos.
I am thinking this will be a straight set encounter for the Canadian but who knows?

What's your thinking?

It is not anarchy, it is what was supposed to come. The transition period has started. There are more guys tasting the success than the Big 4, first the veterans like Stan and Jo Willie are breaking through. I still fancy that generation to make more damage before the new generation rises to the top.

What is sure, on the top half, we will have a finalist who belongs to the 30+ Club.

I think Fabio has a shot here. Raonic hasn't played great since he won Washington but has been grinding out the results nonetheless..

see, you realized you forgot him. Your second sentence applies somewhat to Fed and Andy
as well.

I'm impressed with Raonic's attitude (aside from the meek ending at Wimbledon.....but he played better on grass than ever before). Raonic is a threat on all surfaces, SF at Rome, QF at French (and lost to Djokovic at both of those events), SF at Wimbledon. If there is ever a slam where Nadal/Djokovic/Federer/Murray are not in his way, he'll win it maybe. Dimitrov has beaten Raonic a couple of times, but Dimitrov gets upset more.

The first game of the second set has been going past 10 minutes
11 points so far.
The entire first set was 37 points.
Miserable first serve percentage by both players.

First BP for Fabio, Milos saves them.
Next game, Fabio gets broken and the racquet is tossed a few times.
He has received doctor's assistance after the first set, they were massaging his hamstring.

Milos on a fast court is a bad matchup for Fognini. Didn't think it'd be this bad but definitely figured Raonic would win comfortably.

I know what you're trying to say but this one's a bit different with Robredo and Benneteau having a shot at reaching a M1000 final, sounds more like 2007 to me :snigger .

@GSM - I could have seen Fabio nicking this one against Milos but not then go on to beat Andy/Roger in the next round, that's why I left him out of the "finalist" discussion. Looks like I was woefully misinformed to think the Fog man had a shot here.
