what happened to the blood passport thread..who did that ? whats going on ?.

I am not privy to what is going on. But, it is not a prank. It looks like the
administrators/owners/moderators of the forum have blocked it and are trying
to come out with some guidelines now. Let us wait and see for a couple of
days, before overreacting.

I appreciate your call for not overreacting, GSM, but has it seemed to you that we, up until now, had no guidelines? This forum runs very well. How do you think that happens?

Not sure how much Mauresmo can do to help improve Murray's 2nd serve but it's definitely his achilles heel for a long time alright and needs to be addressed if he wants to make strides.

The second serve really is that bad at times that I find it hard to believe Murray has achieved what he has in the game with such a glaring weakness.

What I'd like to see is for him to serve like he did for a lot of the match against Kyrgios last week, where Andy was taking a bit of power off the first serve but getting more spin on it. His first serve % was much better than usual, he was still getting a fair share of free points too.

Wawrinka starts slowly and gets broken in his first service game. You cannot simply just come in and hoping to get warmed up through the first few games. That at this level means recipe for disaster.
Cilic on another hand looks completely focused. Good for him, he is holding easily and now is 3:0

After donating the first set, due to the loose first game where he lost his first 3 points, now Stan turns on the switch and goes in beast mode.
He now has broken Marin twice in a row and cruises in the second set.

Stan looks scary now. He just bagelled Marin, after Cilic did not lose a service game in his fisrt 5 sets in this event!

Good performance from Stan since that opening service game. Benneteau headed for the QFs, dispatching JJ quite comfortably in the end. With Benneteau in the QFs, Stan should be comfortable favourite to set up an interesting semi with Nole, if he too can get that far.

This is it. I remember when people were making a big deal serving at 140 mph, but his percentage was around 50% at best. He is so good from the baseline, that he should view his first serve more like novak and roger, he doesn't need as many free points. It is enough to start ahead of the points and prevent people from attacking his second serve.

Isner plays an outstanding TB and he takes the first set against Murray. Good for the big John.

Andy with the breakthrough at the start of the second, he can consider himself slightly lucky to get a look at 5 break points in an Isner service game. That SHOULD be enough for this set, but it also should have been enough in deciding sets against Raonic in Indian Wells and Tsonga last week....

I think if the third set goes to a TB, Isner wins the match and otherwise Murray wins
the match.

Isner has the best 2nd serve on tour by far imo. That was some 2nd serve.
