It's not about who looks better. My question is clear: What did you want Nadal and Murray to say about being asked about drug testing in light of the Lance Armstrong scandal?

I was referring more to what they said before in the past, as in 2009 from the quotes on the prior page.

No, I'm aware. They chose to vocalize their issues with a particular aspect of drug testing. Now, if you disagree with that or think it was stupid fine.

But, what seemed to set you off is their stance in 2012. My question is, what would you have done when asked about it if you were them? It's a similar situation to what Roger was in. Federer had made comments in the past saying Troicki was stupid, no excuses, etc... Then he's asked about Cilic minutes after losing to him. Of course it's tricky and it would sound like sour grapes if he threw him under the bus, so his stance is understandable.

It's similar with Murray/Nadal. In light of the Armstrong scandal, they had to clean tennis' image. What they said was the responsible thing. Any other answer would have caused unnecessary drama.

I know they had to try to keep the image of tennis clean. We're going round in circles here. They just made a load of commotion in 2009 about nothing. Fair enough about 2012's comments.

Saw that. Laughable. As if having a convicted doper winning a slam not long after his comeback wasn't bad enough for the sport they have to nominate him for a sportsmanship award too! Tennis is going downhill fast. :nono Yes, dopers are sporting people alright.
