It's not about who looks better. My question is clear: What did you want Nadal and Murray to say about being asked about drug testing in light of the Lance Armstrong scandal?

You haven't really any right to if you're being paid millions each year for sponsorship alone on top of prize winnings. An adult who can see how much they're earning from their sport would do best to get on with things and not cry like a baby.

Absolutely, the rules, good or bad, are rules and it is best for everybody to comply with them. I am sure nobody likes being awaken at 7 in the morning to give a urine sample. At least they were not locked up in a room for 5 hours while giving their samples.;)

I was referring more to what they said before in the past, as in 2009 from the quotes on the prior page.

I think you're exaggerating a little here. Every system in the world can be improved. Neither Murray nor Nadal ever complained about having to be tested...

Plus, if you've nothing to hide you just take a whizz for them and go back to bed or stay up and count your millions. Not exactly hard.

Er yeah they did. This is the quote from Nadal I posted.

"I think it [whereabouts] shows a lack of respect for privacy. I think it's a disgrace, particularly knowing what our sport is like." So calling it a disgrace isn't complaining?

Which is what they did, every time they were asked to.

You're missing a few posts relating to this, but Federer being sweet isn't a sign that he's clean, in fact, it could mean the opposite (this is how con-men operate - if he was a con-man, which I'm not suggesting, I'm using this as an example), and Andy and Rafa complaining about how testers do their job, isn't a sign that they have anything to hide, or that they try to avoid tests.

Neither of them ever said they have a problem being tested and the results show this. They take a whizz and go back to bed, grumbling maybe, but after counting a few millions, they're snoring like a Cork man at an opera... ;)

Who said it isn't complaining? I'm saying you exaggerate when you say they "cried like babies."

You're reading silly things into all this because it's Nadal. There is nothing in any of his complaints that suggests he doesn't want to be tested. And in fact, he was tested each time, with the same results as Federer...

I'm well aware they're compliant as is obvious. Equally so they're moaning little kids and that's all I'm saying. Also well aware you can say good things and be bad but surely an intelligent person wouldn't say negative stuff to the press as it draws attention and also makes you out to be a petulant little child. I wouldn't go near an opera so snoring indeed!

NO, that's impossible!

I am sure you are not pursuing this because it is against Nadal.:laydownlaughing

Er, it's Murray too. Don't feel victimized as a Nadal fan. Neither of their comments are any better than the other. I never said anything about test results and that's not the issue. It's definitely crying like a baby to call it an invasion of privacy and a disgrace or Draconian. Federer was perfectly fine with it as he realizes it's necessary. For the record I've already said you'd want to be a complete idiot to get caught so I've no idea why they even moaned so much. You tell them when you're available sure so it's a pointless measure as you therefore can carry saline with you all day and dump it in the nearest bin! A totally 100% useless testing measure. No need to moan at all.

You mean like this quote of Federer's after the 2011 USO semifinal loss?

"Look, some players grow up and play like that. I remember losing junior matches, just being down 5-2 in the third and they all just start slapping shots. It all goes in for some reason, because that's kind of the way they grew up playing when they were down."

Most especially if they have something to hide, eh? They'd be more likely to keep quiet, or else be upbeat and grinning.

I was at an opera once, in Rome, I was knackered and then had a heavy feed, and a few pints. I was alone, because my wife was arriving next day.

It was Madame Butterfly.

I fell asleep when she was alive. I woke up with a snort - but she was dead. People around me looked daggers at me. I almost told them, "don't look at me, fellers - I didn't kill her!" :lolz: :laydownlaughing :lolz:

What's that got to do with the far more important issue of drug testing in fairness? I never said he doesn't complain. Certainly not about necessary measures.

Fed hated losing, especially to Djokovic. Fortunately he's getting used to it now. :snigger

He is even graceful about it now, I always say: anything is possible.

Front, I don't think that ratio is going to stay like that for much longer.:D

Neither do I but frankly it's mighty impressive to still have the lead considering he's years past his prime. 2-2 in matches played this year against each other and he's 6 years older than Novak and the win at Wimbledon by Novak was a mere single break in the 5th set. Not exactly earth shatteringly dominant over a 33 year old just yet :p

He's lost some matches that he shouldn't have, but Nole is catching up, Fed had 6 years over Nole also and beat him regularly when Nole was just a puppy.;) So impressive come back from Nole, I would say.
