You gotta love her "going for broke" regardless of her advanced years; NOT! You'd think she could come up with a more consistant and/or backup game, but she's as stubborn and limited as always and can't make change! :nono :huh: :s

Especially on clay. That go for broke mentality doesn't not work against the world's best defenders. I mean, how many balls do you have to hit long or in the net to realize that?

That is really what has separated her from her sister. Serena has improved her game. Venus well so much she can improve upon.

But Venus had the opportunity to add different strategies to her game when she was younger (healthier) and she refused to do it. Now, in the twilight of her career w/ this illness zapping her energy, she needs to find other ways to win if she wants to stay out there and continue to play.
