I'm guessing your thinking of Christian Bale... Christian was born in Wales, but to English parents and left Wales when he was young.  I believe he thinks of himself as English, although we'll take him :)

he is a great actor.

he was simply brilliant in 3:10 to Yuma.

tomorrow i will list the greatest western ever made.

hint: it was directed by Sergio leone. had Charles Bronson and Claudia Cardinale. and also henry fonda.

Claudia was born in 1938. she is still around. she was so beautiful.

my take on the Rafa situation is very simple. until he can produce substantial blocks of work on clay going into Monte Carlo, nothing has changed.

I fear that 2016 may end up being worse than 2015.

if all he has is Rio, Stuttgart, and Hamburg at the end of 2016 than it will have been a worse year than 2015.

Roger is making plans for 2017 already. that is how you do it. you set goals and you stay fit, strong, determined, and focused.

you do it the way Djokovic is doing it. just follow his lead with the constant work on the game and the fitness.

I think he'll have a better year than 2015, but it's all relative. The clay season will be especially interesting, no doubt.  General Custer's last stand?  Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

you may have heard or read what Nalbandian said general britbox:

he said the same thing I have been saying.

only we at Camelot and here at Discuss Tennis say it long before anybody else says it.

he said very specifically that it is clay or nothing for Rafa in 2016.

Clay will determine whether he is in or out. it does not get much simpler than that.

but Rafa has shown zero indication to suggest that he is going to be taking clay seriously.

translation: until he can show and start talking about what he is going to do to prepare better for his clay season, nothing has changed and nothing will change.

better start believing what Sampras said: he said he Rafa is playing like he is retiring.

nothing has changed. you just don't base his resurgence on basel and atp tour finals. nothing happened there.

he is done and this bloody fact is the hardest on me.
