IPTL does not affect players like Nishikori and Monfils who are not going to win anything with Roger, Djokovic, and Andy Murray Around. it also does not affect roger who is a factor at the slams and still wins the masters events. he also is keeping up with his fitness and his physical work at the gym. furthermore he has an easy playing style so there is little chance of injury.

Rafa has the most to lose by farting around with IPTL for petty change but then again he has already lost it. he is doing absolutely nothing to gain back his ground. it is just talk for the fans and the sponsors and other members of the tennis universe.

Dhokovic has totally demolished him in 8 of their last 9 matches and the gulf is now wider than ever. but rafa does not care to win anymore and it shows.

So it (IPTL) affects Rafa the most but in a way it does not since he called off the dogs before 2015 even started.

you don't have to listen to me but you will. and you will listen to Sampras.

he is on his own retirement circuit.

he does not have the fitness and the game to win the big events. and that is further compounded by the fact that he does not have the relentless will to fight anymore.

IPTL ends on December 20th. that gives you about 20 days to get ready for the Australian Open. that is not enough.

now you understand why Rafa says he will not be ready for the Australian Open.

he does not want to be ready for the Australian Open.

unless he takes concrete steps to try to get to #2 in the world, you are watching him on the retirement circuit.

he is my player but I am not watching him play at these levels. I much rather remember him as the sport's greatest gladiator he used to be.

I will just have to relive his greatness of the past.

right now he is just collecting cash and trying to stay in the spotlight.

but if he would just resolve to fight again, each additional slam is worth more than $30 million.

and he is collecting petty cash playing this stupid IPTL. also so much for his constant crying about the hard courts.

the fact is that he cant get off the hard courts and never had any intention to.

there are 30% more clay events since he turned pro.
