basically Pat Cash said---in so many words---what I have been saying also. he said that Rafa just has to go out and hit a million balls.
Â
he does not buy this nonsense that Rafa's fall is a function of some sort of crisis of confidence.
he said he can break Rafa's game down and pretty much help him get near the top again.
more on this later but Rafa's biggest problem is loss of fitness and his once immense physicality. he is a wounded warrior without those 2 things.
his next biggest issue is inactivity. he is just not putting in the very long and very hard yards required on the practice courts.
Â
Pat Cash said that Rafa has become too inconsistent. again this is not rocket science. we all know why Rafa has become so inconsistent. he wont put in the time.
he does not have the cyborg like focus the endless drive and hunger of djokovic.
now there are some indications but that is all they are. just indications. just a few minor indications that he wants to prepare better for 2016.
I hope he takes 2016 seriously because that is all he is going to get. 2016 is his last shot at some additional glory. he has to go for it.
Â
more on this later.
