Silly Simona, with you guys who say Halep needs rest to recover. Understand the tournament is in Romania, but she could sacrifice many more good events if she reinjures herself here. Not looking at the long term situation carefully enough.

On second day(today) they put all the bad Romanian girls on court and kept the "meat" for the third day.
The Romanian girls with potential will play tomorrow. Simo, Irina Begu who is doing a real come back, and the most interesting match will be between Vinci and poor Dulgheru who didnt really played in last 2 years because of bad injuries.
Dulgheru if healthy, will fight hard with the crowd on her back. Vinci looks real bad this year and can lose this match. The good action starts tomorrow.
the kids day on Sunday was the best day of the event

I just tuned in. It is a good outfit for her. Blends well w/ her skin and hair color. She looks healthy. I don't see any hitches in her movement, but she's far better on the clay than grass anyway.

She's complicating the end of this match though. Having trouble serving it out. She can break at 5-4 for the win.

^ Yes nothing special about this match and Simo looks mentally tired. Her ankle is ok and she was sliding and running to the drop shots as usual.
De Vroome is only 18, plays in Genie style big hitter, and she will be famous soon imo. Likes to fight.
Another tall blonde but slimmer than Genie. A potential.

The eternal Ginsu knife (Niculescu) is out there right now. But Kostova has grown accustomed to her slicing & dicing and Miss Ginsu appears to be carrying a slight injury. 5-5 in the 2nd set.
