Congrats to Fritz!

Hey 20-0 isn't shabby at all. Rafa, get thee to Mallorca and REST and ony play a handful of tournaments before Roland Garros.

VAMOS RAFA!!

Kudos to Taylor Fritz! Great home town win

I’m happy for him, and I hope it’s a sign of even more to come from him.

Pity for Rafa but he’s been a Trojan all season so far. If he was to lose, I’m glad he got it outta the way before the clay…

My only wish for Taylor Fritz please show this type of play on other non-Clay tournaments too not just Indian Wells. It would just be a bummer if he just shows this level on one tournament a year.

I think Taylor is ready to take it to the next level. He's been hampered by injury.

That was a surprise. Fritz is playing well for quite some time now, but did not see him going this far and winning Masters 1000.
Nothing changes for Rafa, his season is remarkable so far and believe he is going to dominate the clay. He needs to rest now. Good choice to skip Miami.

If you are Djokovic, you better play any tournament you can find your way into before RG, so you can get some match play in if you want to have any hope of defending.

That’s what I am hoping, Moxie. I don’t expect these players to win every tournament but at least get some consistency especially on the bigger tournaments.

I am very curious to see on how Fritz will fare from Wimbledon up until the indoor season. He has the BIG game to do well in those conditions. I am wishing he does play well in that part of the calendar.

Never seen Rafa looking so distraught..just a damn shame he wasn't able to play his brand of tennis today but the BETTER player won today. I am assuming MC is not going to happen

WTA’s Daniela Hantuchova won 2 Indian Wells in her career and little else…
And I don’t want Fritz to have that kind of career. While he has limitations, he definitely is not just a one time 1000 Masters champion player. Hopefully, he can truly build on this win.
