Ferrer rallies back a defeats Grigor in 3 sets. This is why I was not sharing the enthusiasm after Grigor defeated Cilic. He needs to do more work to get out of this bad patch.

His victory against Cilic, whether you like it or not, was a big win for him. He did okay today too but Ferrer is a tough customer for anybody...

Didn't think Andy would win quite so convincingly in these first two matches. Perhaps he was trying to send a message to Goffin and Belgium today?

Surprised Roger was defeated but saves Andy facing him in a potential semi final. Woohoo for a 7-5 6-1 loss to Nole in the final :p

Very possible final now. Murray needs to get through Gasquet (never an easy out ask Nishikori) and then Ferrer maybe Isner. An inclining Nadal is going to knock a mentally reclining Djokovic out and give Andy a chance to win his 3rd Masters title of 2015.

Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket!

That's why it's smarter to wait and see what is going on day by day, tournament by tournament, many things can change it doesn't matter the previous results including injuries and dropping their level or a superb game by the opponent

I don't disagree that a win over Cilic qualifies as "big" for him, but that shows just how much he's fallen off. Right now he seems absolutely hopeless but he's still young and at the very least could get back to where he was in 2014.

Ferrer would have been a pretty good win.

Cilic? :laydownlaughing

ugh... Isner and Ferrer. Wrong placement of the upset for me. Now I am all Gasquet.

Ferrer winning is not an upset. Isner winning, that one, yes, a big one.

Little Feruuuu gets no respect. Maybe it's the constant desperate grunting.

Main reason I'm upset for Roger wetting the bed badly today is I'd have liked to see him dissect the Ferret yet again. Well that and losing to the one trick clown is just embarrassing for Rog.

No brudda...it's everything! The crazy grunting AFTER he hits the ball is just one thing.

You got it all wrong, boys. Isner won (upset), Ferrer won (not an upset). Two matches, one upset, placed on Federer's match. I wanted the upset on the other match. I don't like Ferrer, but I know he is expected to beat Dimitrov, specially nowadays.

Because he never has won a GS, that happened with Wawrinka until he won the AO

Finally some life from Jo. But is it too late down 6-3, 4-2?

Anderson is a tough opponent and is playing well, hope Rafa can handle it but I think it's going to be a difficult match

Anderson is a break up. Go Anderson!

Being able to finish is what I would be concerned about! Anderson's playing well, but seen it before; namely up on Nole 2-0 at Wimbledon and we know how that turned out this year! :nono  :dodgy: :cover
